Something I swore I would never do!

Little man has ALWAYS slept in his own bed. Since birth. He never even needed a night light. He just slept well. I complained to sooo many people that I hated that he wasn't a cuddler. My last kiddo and no cuddles...
He never slept with us. Even when he was sick,  I rocked him on his recliner in his room. The few times I brought him into bed with us- he played. No interest in sleeping even if five seconds earlier he was doing that "neck-breaking head nod" thing.
Here is little man, the first night we put him in his toddler bed. I think he was about 1 1/2.

Then, we moved. And my desperate wishes for a cuddler, kicked me in the ass.

Now, he sleeps with us. Every.Night.Right.There.
Our California King bed... is ruled by a 3 yr old. For being a huge bed, I always end up on the very edge in some weird contorted position. You know the position. All of us parents have slept this way. Head on the corner of the pillow. One leg at a 45 degree and the other at a 90...
I know the hubs is the same way on the other side.
Cause the 3 yr old wants to sleep perpindicular to us.
It is nuts!

So. We did something we swore we would never do.
We set up the toddler bed in our room. Next to our bed.

I do not bash co-sleepers. I never have.  To each their own. What works for your fam would not work for ours etc... Or so I thought.
Apparently, we are co-sleepers at heart!

Aww! I think that's sweet...he just needs to adjust then he will be back on his own! My stepdaughter does that - some nights she just needs to sleep with us and I think it's just the environment change from going between her mom's house and ours. She, however, likes to sleep ON TOP of us. Literally. Mostly me because I have squishy boobs she uses as pillows...
