Summer Swap, Talent Show and Hit a Wall

I got a package!!! I love love love packages!! I joined up with the Summer Swap over at Flip Flops & Combat Boots! First of all- I have to send her a shout out for including people living overseas... most do not. My address is still a U.S. address- so it does not cost anymore to send to me. It is a little more difficult cause you have to fill out a Customs Form though... and it might take an extra few days for the packages to arrive... but luckily my kick booty partner Mrs. S didn't seem to mind!

I had SOO much fun "getting to know" Sarah. It was crazy how much we had in common!

I got her package yesterday and it was filled with SOO many goodies!

First of all, how absolutely adorable is the packaging?? Since this was my first go around- I did not think to decorate the box! This idea is now stored in my brain for next time!! My daughter LOVED it!

Talk about fun summer stuff. There was the little gardening set which included seeds for bell peppers and zucchini... which is awesome. My fam was actually going to plant a garden for the first time ever this summer- so now we have our start! Perfect!

There were water guns- which have already been totally played with by my daughter and hubby... even lil man has gotten a kick out of them.

She included the yummiest looking BBQ sauce. We have good selections over here on post but it is always neat to get a new choice that we do not have! There was also a box of lemonade mix, a checkered table cover (how fun!), a water/fan, and body spray.

I also think it is hilarious that she sent me the pink nail polish- cause I sent her a pink one too! Great minds think alike!!!!

Such a fun swap. Thank you Mrs. S!!!!

Today, Hais had a talent show at school. Her teacher had the entire class perform an adorable song. Mrs Jennings had told us we did not want to miss it- so the entire family was in attendance!!
Daddy and lil man watching intently... lil man rocking some peanut butter from his sandwich! lol

The performance was awesome. They were so cute and truly sang/danced their hearts out. It was something about mountains and leaning against one another. I know I am hormonal (thank you fertility shots) but it totally made me cry! I felt silly until I saw quite a few mommas tearing up/wiping eyes... some without kiddos even in the class... I am SO insanely proud of my daughter... (she is the one in the blue plaid)

So- I have totally hit a wall this afternoon. Started the day off fantastic. Lost another 2.4 lbs this week. Even with the cruddy eating week- I still lost. Talk about motivation to keep running!

Dropped lil man off at daycare at 8 this morning and went straight to Hais school. Worked in the library until 10 am and then worked on posters for PTA for the Survivor themed Field Day tomorrow. Then watched the talent show. Picked up a few more things I need to work on tonight for tomorrow and headed home.

Lee is flying tonight... so I am popping in a lasagna I ordered from a personal cook here in the community- and that is what we are having for dinner tonight. I have a feeling that kiddos will be down for the night by 7 and I will go straight upstairs for the night myself. Lee is supposed to fly until well after midnight... and I have a 530am run calling my name tomorrow morning- Week 5 of the C25K program... then field day at the school from 730- 230... then set up for the RainbowFest (final PTA general membership event) from 230-5... then Rainbowfest from5-7....

Maybe the reality of tomorrows LONG day is making me tired!!
