Me? Type A? Nah!

I can admit it. I am TOTALLY a type A personality. I like plans. I like to be in control. I carry around my planner and different colored pens to coordinate with different activities (scary- right?)

One of the things that drives me the craziest about Army life? Its conflict with my before mentioned type A personality!

So- it is ironic regarding my last posting. I was contemplating moving. Yeah- today- it is all up in the air! A three year extension is almost a "not gonna happen" thing. What does that mean? It means that we are moving. Again. Yep!

In five months. To where you ask? No idea. Ugh.

Shipping a dog internationally. Shipping 2 cars (and worst of all- being in the states for an unknown time waiting on the cars). Moving a 4 floor house internationally. Disenrolling and re-enrolling Hais in school. Finding a new house. Get the drift? lol..............

Do not get me wrong. Moving back to the states is tempting! Being near family would rock. Being able to fly to my sisters for a few hundred dollars- instead of a few thousand! Looking at a 3 hr time difference rather than a 9 hour one!

The part upsetting my belly right now- not knowing. Lee will go talk to command tomorrow to see what they can and will do. The guy who controls when and where concerning this move... is TDY (temporary duty assignment) to Hawaii... for a week. So... now it is about waiting to hear back from him. Isn't it weird to know that some stranger controls such a HUGE portion of my life??

Waiting stinks. I am SO not a patient person:)

Also- it stinks not being an active member of the process. My hubby can go talk to people and send/receive emails. I sit home and wait. Wait for any info the hubs can share. Stinks to be a bystander on life decisions. Lee listens to me and speaks on my "behalf" but still- it is not the same as actually getting a voice...

So--- where will this blog travel to in the next six months? Will we end up in Kentucky? Maybe Georgia? North Carolina again? Ugh... time will tell.
