This past weekend we switched around some of the bedrooms in the house. When we moved in the house- I was 10 days from having lil man. So- we put Hais in the master bedroom which is the entire third floor of the house. It made sense because I wanted to be on the same floor as the babies room. I did not want to stumble down the steep, curved tile stairs in the middle of the night when lil man would wake up...
So- we took the big room on the second floor. Well- Hais was not a huge fan of being up on the third floor by herself and usually ended up sleeping in the spare room on the second floor. So- we did the big switcheroo this weekend. Well- what worried me was the fact that I may not hear lil man in the middle of the night when he randomly wakes up. He is a great sleeper. But maybe once or twice a week he wakes in the middle of the night (usually about 1 am or so) and wants a bottle.
We contemplated buying a video baby monitor. The only problem is- the one here on post is $195! And the one we found on the economy is 176 Euro! That is like $230...
But- I did not want to order one from the states cause we ordered a regular monitor right after he was born- and it did not get a signal even one room away... we think it is because of the thick cement walls throughout the house.
So- yesterday morning I splurged and bought the $195 one from post... when we got home it was time for a nap anyhow- so I set it up on his crib. Within five minutes- I could tell he spotted it... he was making eye contact with me through the camera. I laughed- it was pretty funny. Then I realized I could see his hand coming at it- then a closer look of his lil face... then the sheets of the crib!! I ran up there as fast as possible but he already had it in his lil hands!
The pics are hilarious and honestly a lil creepy! Makes me think of that horror movie- the one with the girl in the tv that fell in a well... lol...
