2 cars. 9 women. 4:20 am meetup. 4.5 hour drive. 13 shops. 4 bottles of wine.

A trip that was much needed. All women. No kiddos.
Retail shopping at its best. 2.8 Polish Zloty= 1 US Dollar.
What does that mean?
Dinner included wine, soup, huge plate of pierogis= 9,90 Euro (roughly $12).
Yep, $12!!!

After a year long deployment. Worrying about hubbies flying over a war zone daily.
Living in another country- far from home- 9 hr time zone differences.

We needed the "digging through wine corks" basket... and choosing beautiful patterns... being torn between a casserole dish or a soup tureen.

Patti was our fearless leader.... planning the trip... using her trusty iPhone to convert the Zloty into dollars for us. How can you beat $3 for a handmade and painted bowl or $20 for a gorgeous baking dish?

Meghan and Kerri at one of the first stores we hit...

You will find the most random things made of pottery!

Laughs were aplenty. Friendships were cemented even further- while others were built from scratch.

A delicious (and cheap) lunch- a good Polish beer- fabulous conversation- laughing until we cried... love girlfriend time
